  • InBody Assessment In Singapore

The scale tells you a number. It does not tell you what changed. An InBody Assessment separates your weight into fat mass, muscle mass, and body water, giving you a measurement you can act on.

The Scale Doesn't Know What Changed

Two people can lose the same five kilograms. One loses fat and keeps muscle. The other loses muscle and keeps fat. The scale may show an identical result, but your body data does not.

Weight alone is unable to differentiate fat, muscle, and water. It cannot tell you whether a training block built lean mass or simply dehydrated you. It cannot flag when muscle loss is quietly offsetting fat loss, hiding progress that is happening beneath the surface.

Body composition analysis closes that gap. At RAPIDÉ, an InBody Assessment is the diagnostic layer beneath every recovery and performance protocol: a measured, repeatable baseline instead of a guess.

    What an InBody Assessment Measures

An InBody Assessment uses bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA): a low, imperceptible electrical current passed through the body, measuring the resistance each tissue type offers. Fat, muscle, and water conduct that current differently, which is what allows the device to separate your total weight into its component parts.

The result is a composition breakdown, not a single figure.

    Body Fat Percentage

The proportion of total body weight made up of fat mass, tracked as a percentage.

    Muscle Mass

Skeletal muscle mass, isolated from fat and water, so changes in strength training or recovery protocols show up directly.

    Body Water

Total body water and its distribution, relevant to hydration status and recovery readiness.

    Visceral Fat

An estimate of fat stored around the abdominal organs, distinct from the fat measured just beneath the skin.

    Segmental Analysis

A regional breakdown across arms, legs, and trunk, useful for spotting asymmetries that a single full-body number would hide.

    Additional Metrics

Depending on the assessment, your report may also include BMI, basal metabolic rate, and a summary composition score.

No single number on the report is diagnostic on its own. The value is in what the full picture shows, and in what changes across repeated scans.

Why Body Composition Data Changes How You Train and Recover

A body composition analysis is not a vanity metric. At RAPIDÉ, it is the baseline that every subsequent recovery or performance decision is measured against.

Without it, training and recovery are calibrated to how you feel. With it, they are calibrated to what is changing in your tissue.

Track what training does to your body.

Muscle mass and fat mass trends reveal whether a programme is building lean tissue or simply moving the number on the scale.

    Catch changes the mirror misses.

Segmental and visceral fat data surface shifts before they become visible or symptomatic.

Set goals against your own baseline.

A target built from your composition data is specific to your physiology, not a generic number pulled from a chart.

    Make recovery decisions with evidence.

Body water and segmental readings can inform how a clinician sequences your recovery protocol, rather than applying the same approach to every client.

The RAPIDÉ Approach to Your InBody Assessment

    Step 1

    Baseline Scan

A comprehensive InBody assessment establishes your starting composition: fat mass, muscle mass, body water, and segmental baseline.

    Step 2

    Clinical Review

Your results are reviewed against your goals and training load, translating the raw data into a recovery or performance direction.

    Step 3

    Guided Interpretation

You leave with a clear read on what the numbers mean and which metrics matter most for your specific goal, not a printout you have to decode alone.

    Step 4

    Ongoing Tracking

Repeat assessments are built into RAPIDÉ membership plans, so progress is measured against your own baseline over weeks and months, not a single snapshot.

    Who This Is For

An InBody Assessment is most useful to anyone who wants a measured answer instead of a guess.

    Track It Over Time

A single scan is a snapshot. Repeated scans are the signal.

InBody Assessment & Body Composition FAQs

An InBody Assessment is a body composition analysis that measures fat mass, muscle mass, and body water using bioelectrical impedance analysis, giving a detailed breakdown beyond total body weight.
It measures body fat percentage, muscle mass, body water, visceral fat, and segmental composition across the arms, legs, and trunk.
The device sends a low electrical current through the body. Fat, muscle, and water each offer different resistance to that current, which allows the scan to calculate how much of your weight comes from each.
A regular scale gives one number: total weight. An InBody Assessment separates that number into fat mass, muscle mass, and water, so changes in composition are visible even when weight itself stays the same.
This depends on your goals and training load. Repeated assessments over weeks or months are more useful than a single scan, since trends reveal more than one reading.

Hydration, recent exercise, and timing of meals can all affect body water readings. Your RAPIDÉ clinician will advise on preparation ahead of your assessment.

    Understand Your Body Changes

Weight tells you one number. Body composition tells you the rest. Book your InBody Assessment and start tracking progress that a scale alone cannot show.
